Welcome! I’m Isa, the founder, formulator, herbalist, gardener, and artist behind Circles & Cycles.

Working with plants is both my life’s calling and my healing path. Circles & Cycles was born from my own journey toward balance and well-being, and from more than a decade spent learning from plants through many modalities, from Ayurveda and herbal medicine to ecological gardening and natural dyeing.

My practice sits at the intersection of art and science… blending intuition, traditional plant wisdom, and scientific research to create formulations that support skin health, both topically and from within. With over a decade of herbal study and continued education in Chemistry, my passion is merging scientific understanding of bioactive compounds with traditional plant wisdom to create skincare and textiles that are as functional as they are beautiful. Every formula and dye bath is guided by the natural rhythms of the seasons and the living colors and compounds of the plants themselves.

I believe in skincare that begins from seed. As a devoted ecological gardener, I grow as many of my ingredients as possible, tending each plant from seed to harvest to extraction. I’m a seventh-generation resident of Northport, Michigan. I am grateful to be creating and growing on family land, where this work continues to deepen my connection to land and lineage.

Every Circles & Cycles creation is a reflection of that relationship: a slow collaboration with the natural world. My hope is that when you reach for these products, you feel that connection too.
